"So, I have a resume, how do I get a job?"
After you complete your resume, you will want to take it to various companies you are interested in working for.
Be sure that you are dressed nicely. This means your clothes fit, they are clean and neat (or pressed). Be sure you have showered before you go and look in the mirror to make sure your hair is looking like you didn't just roll out of bed.
When you go to drop off your resume, "walk tall" and with purpose. The person about to hire you may be watching you walk into their business and this will be your first chance to make a good impression. You may have to ask for the manager when you get into the store/business. Use your best manners with please and thank you. Use an upbeat tone and offer your hand for a handshake. Use the firm handshake we learned at the beginning of the year with eye contact.
You will most likely just be dropping off your resume at this point, but you may get an opportunity to meet with the manager if you are lucky.
Be prepared to have an interview on the spot. In the following sections there are many tips and ideas you can use to be successful.

Step 6: Practice:
Think about how many hours you need to put into something you really enjoy in order to get good at it. Think of your favourite hobbies and sports or a school play. You spend hours and hours practicing so that you will be able perform more naturally with better skills than if you didn't.
This is no different. Role playing is an excellent way to perfect the skills you will need to be successful. It may seem a little "fake" at first, but try to see through that. Learning to ball handle in basketball practice pays off when you get to the game!
